Works as it’s supposed to… Every BMW owner needs to have one of these. It always pays for itself over the first 18 months. I generally will not go off of what a mechanic says about my car unless I reset the service light and see if the faults will come back on. This helps me confirm in fact it was what the original diagnosis was. Many of the older BMW cars are very sensitive when it comes to the electrical system. Does exactly what is intended If you own a BMW in the compatible range of years this tool is a must-have, along with the Bentley manual. If you only reset your Check Engine Light twice, it will have paid for itself (assuming you’d get your light reset at the dealership).Now stop being cheap and buy one…you own a BMW!
