Does not work… This item does not work. The company was quick to send me another item, but non of them functioned properly. I’m an OBD-2 scanner developer/programmer and have been testing these ELM327 for months. Among the ELM320 that does work is the Elan Power2, which seems to work great. This device here, “Super Mini ELM327” does not function at all.NOTE: For everyone’s reference, the ELM327 is a Canadian chip company that developed the chip formware and uses a PIC processor. They named…

Works well but very poor packaging Like other posts described, you have to use 1234 as the PIN when pairing with the ELM327. Once paired it worked every time with the Torque App. (I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S4)I would have rated this higher if there were any kind of instructions included. Don’t even bother with the included CD. It’s full of malware. (In my opinion they should not be allowed to sell this product on Amazon if they knowingly put viruses on their software)

does not work with 1999 Ford Explorer i cannot get this device to communicate with the ECM on my 1999 Ford Explorer. it connects via blutooth to my phone just fine, i can see it in Torque. but it cannot communicate with the ECM.
