Works great, very poor documentation In order to use this, you do need to be a bit of a techie, or at least get a techie to help. A key point many may miss and worth trying if it refuses to pair, try pairing code 6789 or look through all the text files on the included mini-CD for the pairing code if it is different for yours.I am a long time PC/Network tech, plus a bit of a gearhead, and even I had some issues initially.My setup: This device and a Viewsonic 7″ Android Tablet (wifi and bluetooth, no GPS)…
Paired ok but wouldn’t connect…. My unit had issues and I had to return it to Amazon for refund. I could pair it to my computer or my droid bionic but none of the provided programs or Torque pro could connect. It had an obvious problem. A second problem lies in the software provided. This is a mini CD/R with many OBDII apps on it and common drivers for Bluetooth hardware. Many of these APPs come with Key Generators. Like pirated software.
