VERY limited applications… I bought this product with the intent of using it to change spark plugs on my 2000 Dodge Viper GTS coupe. With aftermarket exhaust headers and a very compact engine bay, I thought that the path of least resistance would need to be a very “flexible” path.The day these arrived I ran out to the garage. Stuck a socket on one end, the other onto my ratchet, and easily found the back-side of a spark plug. I twisted the ratchet and watched in sadness as the extension coiled uselessly…

it works, but only on bolts under 10 ft-lbs Agree with the other reviewer! I got these in case I needed to get to some hard to reach bolts. They just curl up, like a pussycat on her day job. Yes they are flexible and yes you can reach those hard to reach bolts. Problem is that you just can not loosen them up if they are tighter than about 10 ft-lbs. That means that you have to figure out how to get them started first. Then you can use the flexible extension to get them all the way out. And you can use them to get a bolt started, but to…
