For the love of god, dont do it! I just want to warn anyone that these units are AT best, hit and miss. At worst, you will waste hours trying to get it to partially work.My own unit would show (on the first day) as a wifi hotspot. But despite trying every permutation known to man (based on online info, since it comes with ZERO of its own), I was unable to get the device work. While I could set a static IP for my phone/iPad (192.168.1.xxx, where XXX is not 10), with and without the router parameter set etc. and…

Does not work correctly with Dash Command Bought this and then got the DashCommand app for iPhone (should have read their supported readers, don’t trust this devices description!). It has VERY limited and unreliable data, and the connection didnt work consistently. It would read codes, but didnt do much else at all. I don’t recommend this product at all.
