Great little device – simple to use and does the job. This little OBD II scanner is simple to use and that’s good since there are no instructions provided. There is a mini disk included with WIN software to use with a Bluetooth enabled laptop for reading the device but you’re better off using a smartphone app. There are apps available for Android for free or a small fee. IOS users will have to research what’s available. I have an Android phone and tablet so I started with the free Torque Lite app for testing. After installing the app I plugged…

if you have a ford dont buy this item this item will not work with any vehicle using J1850 VPW J1850 PWM protocol so before buying it make sure your vehicle is not using either of those protcols especially for most fords this will not work. other than that it works in my opinion they should post that its not compatible with those protocols
